ESG Colocation ESG Progress A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO A vision for the digital future Bimal Khandelwal Chief Executive Officer A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO A vision for the digital future MORE The global and Indian economies are increasingly intertwined with the rapid advancement of digital technologies, a trend that is accelerating. The mainstreaming of AI and Machine Learning, along with growing hyper-connectivity and digital-native components, has led to an unprecedented rise in data volume and complexity, driving immense demands for computing, storage, and network infrastructure. As digital infrastructure scales to meet these demands, the sector must address the environmental and social impacts associated with rising energy consumption, resource constraints, climate risks and the need for resilient, responsible growth. The need to balance digital expansion with environmental and social sustainability has never been more important. At STT GDC India, inspired by our group's ethos, we believe that sustainable digital growth is built on a foundation of sustainable digital infrastructure. With our leadership position in the data centre services sector in India, we recognise our significant role in anchoring, developing, and executing the sustainability agenda. Today, our platform spans 34 data centres with 613 MW of IT load across 10 cities, strengthening our role in enabling India’s rapidly evolving digital economy. As we scale, we remain focused on ensuring that this growth is resilient, responsible and sustainable. FY26 marked a significant milestone in our decarbonisation journey with 70% of our energy consumption attributable to renewable sources, underscoring an impressive growth from 59.6% in FY25 baseline. In line with our commitment to carbon neutrality in our data centre operations by 2030, we have implemented energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives, leading to a reduction in 52% carbon intensity in FY25. We are also optimising PUE at new sites by using highly efficient cooling and electrical equipment. Additionally, we have consciously shifted to predominantly air-cooled technologies in our facilities Pan India to enhance water management. Our water conservation initiatives, including harvesting and recycling efforts, deserve special mention. A safe and equitable workplace is the core enabler of our holistic sustainability journey, and we are continuously making significant strides in this area. Our organisational character is defined significantly by our long-term commitment to effect positive social change. Alongside our ongoing high impact community development initiatives around rural economic upliftment and diffusion of technical skills. We are excited to announce that, for the eight consecutive year, we've been certified as a Great Place to Work, ranking 14th among India’s Great Mid-Size Workplaces and 42nd among Best Workplaces™ in Asian 2024 Small and Medium, with an employee satisfaction trust index of 88%. Our customers, as our key stakeholders, continue to repose their unwavering long-term confidence in us, reflected in an industry leading Net Promoter Score of 88%. As sustainability becomes a central focus in public discourse and increasingly integrates with business goals, we have established robust governance structures, regularly updating our policies to stay aligned with the evolving landscape and actively engaging in policy advocacy to promote the long-term health of the data centre sector and responsible digital adoption. We're pleased to present our FY 2025 ESG report, showcasing our progress and achievements in our long term ESG commitments. As AI and other emerging technologies accelerate demand for digital infrastructure, our focus remains clear: to scale responsibly, strengthen resilience, reduce our environmental impact and create long-term value for our customers, employees, communities and other stakeholders. We remain committed to enabling India’s digital future through infrastructure that is not only AI-ready and resilient, but also sustainable and responsible. In CPU-based environments of the past decades, workloads were relatively stable, performance gains were incremental, and infrastructure could be evaluated largely as a commodity layer. From Capacity to Capability: The Strategy of Infrastructure Readiness and the Next Phase of AI Leadership Jul 20, 2026 ARTICLE Why AI Infrastructure Readiness will Shape Asia’s Next Leader Many organisations have already moved beyond asking whether AI matters. Across Asia, the more pressing question is whether they are equipped to run it reliably at scale. As AI shifts from experimentation into operational use, competitive outcomes are being shaped less by ambition alone and more by the infrastructure, operating models and specialist capabilities that support deployment in production. This is where the next divide is emerging.
