As a Legal Counsel, you will handle the corporate, compliance and corporate secretarial matters of the STTGDC group. You will be reporting to the General Counsel and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

•  Provide legal advice and support to STTGDC group’s operational matters, including compliance, regulatory, project development (including construction and equipment procurement), financing, vendor and customer contracts.
• Provide legal advice and support to STTGDC group’s investment activities, including merger & acquisitions and joint ventures matters.
• Assist in corporate secretarial matters of companies within STTGDC group
• Instruct and manage external counsel on a variety of legal matters
• Any other matters as assigned from time to time

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, with strong academic credentials
• Strong legal experience in corporate and commercial matters, including construction/ procurement
• Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in law firm and/or in-house
• Proactive, adaptable and independent and able to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with the ability to work closely and constructively with colleagues across the regions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
